Cielo Rosa brings together a vintage Chichicastenango huipil and three lavender jade stones framed in silver. Rich pinks meet softer shades of peach, lilac and turquoise, with touches of yellow throughout the geometric textile.

The pale lavender jade sits down the centre, its subtle colour contrasting with the bright threads.

Handmade Details

Our handmade ceramic beads match the textile’s colours, combining pink and earthy brown with small bands of pastel shades. The fringe follows the stepped outline of the piece, adding movement and a beautiful finish.

Each strand is carefully assembled by experienced artisans, with patience and attention to detail.

The design draws on Mayan cosmology and the importance of the sky and sun. The vintage huipil’s repeating diamonds and zigzags bring rhythm to the piece, preserving the textile as the heart of a new creation.

We recommend to not shower or swim with your new jewelry, however a bit of splashes and sweat won't damage the piece. When not using the jewelry, hang it or lay it out flat. The piece can handle being dropped and folded gently but try not to squash it between two hard surfaces.
