Textile Vest with Beaded Chains - "Imperial Aguacatán", turquoise (S)
Textile Vest with Beaded Chains - "Imperial Aguacatán", turquoise (S)
Our Imperial vests are incredible pieces of wearable art combined with ceramic beads. They contain at least 5500 ceramic beads handmade, and despite this, they are very lightweight with a comfortable touch around the edges. The lines of beads are organized in an enchanting way with colors that are perfectly matched with the carefully chosen textile.
They are modern crop vests with a twist of traditional textile from Guatemala. Like one of our customers said in our shop;
"Wearing it feels like getting a hug from art itself".
This turquoise crop top vest has the traditional textile from Aguacatán. This type of textile is used in important Mayan ceremonies which makes it very precious. The beaded chains encloses the vest in the front creating a very feminine look
Size: This is a size small. The chains are slightly adaptable to the chest size so you don't have to be a small over the chest. See model photo for size reference.
How to wear it: Wear it as you would wear any other vest - over a one-colored top or dress to really bring out the vibrant colors of this wearable art.
How to get into and out of it: Hands up in the air and slide it down. To get out of it, bend over and pull the textile from the neck area slowly. Now just wiggle a little to get it all the way off.
If you love art, and if you love unique clothing items, this is for you. Everything is handmade by Mayan artisans in Guatemala.
