Beaded torsade necklace with jade - "Poporopo Jade"

The Poporopo Torsade necklace is our signature necklace. We've added a beautiful piece of authentic, precious jade stone from Guatemala to this version of the torsade necklace - upping the elegancy a bit more! The jade is protected by two hand-rolled, ceramic sculptures.

To make this necklace, we use a traditional technique of embroidering beads into a fishnet pattern. This netted technique adds a very unique look and feel to the necklace. We can ensure you that you've never seen beads used this way before.

The net of beads forms a wholeness that can be coiled, straight or a mix of the two. You can twist it and play around with this, giving you many different looks. The necklace also allows you to adjust the length to your preferred style. Use it long or medium long.

Everything is handmade by Mayan artisans in Guatemala.

We recommend not showering or swimming with your new jewelry, however a bit of splashing won't hurt. When not using the jewelry, hang it or lay it out flat. The jewelry can handle being dropped but try not to squash them between two hard surfaces.
