Returns 

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If conditions are met, we offer an 80% refund. The refund will be processed through PayPal or Credit Card which is calculated based on order handling fees. Unless it is because of a defect or damage which in this case means a 100% refund. This is not applicable to vintage pieces: please see section “Condition” further below.

 

Products eligible for FREE RETURN

This section is only valid for products labeled "FREE RETURN" in the top of the product description.

Some of our wearable art pieces are eligible for free return because they are sized and we understand that it's a risk every time you purchase something which is sized. The conditions are as follows:

Our policy lasts 3 days. If 3 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a free return, nor can we offer you a refund.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Depending on payment method, we may charge a fee for refund handling. Let us know if you have any questions regarding this.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the "return" conditions.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied via your original method of payment. These are the estimated refund processing times from our payment providers:

PayPal: Up to 5 Days

Credit card: Up to 30 Days

Late or missing refunds 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged and within 7 days of receiving the item. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@loscoloresdelatierra.com.

Return shipping
To send your product for return, we will send you the return address by e-mail. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (unless item is marked with "FREE RETURN" - see above).

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Condition - Vintage pieces

Some of our pieces are created with vintage huipiles. This means that the textile can be old and not in perfect condition. We try our best only to purchase textiles in the best condition but we do not guarantee that there will be no flaws in the fabric. It’s part of the charm of vintage textile. We will state if the individual piece is vintage in the product description. If this is the case, we will not refund due to bad condition but evaluate case-by-case if we can issue a store credit or exchange for different product.

If you are unhappy with your piece (due to vintage nature, color fades, or other natural wear and tears), we reserve the right to take it case-by-case and may offer you a partial refund or a store credit. No full refund is guaranteed.
